The whole point of this blog is to be historically and politically impartial.  I have posted Skrewdriver before - and if you read my post about the focus of this blog, I explained it all.  Writing off Skrewdriver and other bands from that era entirely as “not skinheads” due to their beliefs is inaccurate, and revisionist.

I don’t care if this blog, its content, or I myself personally, challenge your ideas of what skinhead culture is truly all about.  Nor if any of that upsets or angers you.

Welcome to World of Skinhead! - a skinhead Tumblr blog devoted to anything and everything from the whole body of skinhead history, music, fashion, and culture.  This means that I may post reggae or a SHARP band right before a Skrewdriver song I like.  Why?  Because I love it all!

This blog is run by one guy at this point… Matt - a skinhead on the East Coast of the US.  Richmond, VA to be more specific.  My personal blog is here: Broken Bottles - if for some reason you care about the dumb, random-content bullshit I post on there.

Anyway - one thing you will NOT see on here is ANY outright political content - of any type!  I am not here to recruit anyone, and while everyone will have their own political beliefs, the skinhead “cult” has nothing to do with those politics at its heart.

I will neither make any specific attempt to be PC, nor to offend the PC kids.  If I post things that you don’t like, or you feel conflict with your views of the skinhead culture, simply do not follow.
